About the Group
The LGA Environment Board deals with LGA activity in "sustainability of the environment" and works in the four broad areas of Transport, Housing, Planning and Environment.
The LGA is seeking to improve its representation on "Environment" issues through the development of a new Environment Advisors Panel. The intention is also to reduce the list of current advisers.
A waste sub-group has been created, drawn from the key organisations including NAWDO. This group will eventually replace the list of advisors.
